Instead Of Ads Google Promotions for Webmaster Tools

Google wants everyone to add tagging to their web pages as I was doing some research on the SEW forums and I saw a promotion where normally there would be a sponsored listing - sorry where an Ad would be now.



So I did some more tests and apparently if you do a site: search you will see the ads. Clever really as it asks if you are site owner and is pushing tool set that would do pretty much what I was looking at. Wonder how many people decide to add Webmaster Tools after seeing this?
